5 Yoga Poses For Glowing Skin….

Yoga is an ancient physical and spiritual discipline and branch of philosophy that originated in India reportedly more than 5,000 years ago. IT is very good for your skin and your health. It increased flexibility, increased muscle strength and tone. The word yoga comes from the Sanskrit word “Yuj”, which means to yoke, join, or unite. And there are 5 most effective yoga’s for glowing skin..

1- Dhanurasana- Dhanurasana (bow Pose) is an excellent back bending yoga pose for increasing flexibility and glowing skin.

You must make sure to keep your stomach and bowels empty before you practice this asana. Have your meals at least four to six hours before you do the asana so that your food gets digested, and there is enough energy for you to expand during the practice.

 

It is best to practice yoga first thing in the morning. But in the event you cannot work out in the morning, it is alright to practice it in the evening.

Step 1- lie flat on the stomach, legs and feet together bend your knees …and hold your legs with hands slowly and stretch your toes towards yourself and lift your chin and chest together… Your body will now look like a bow. However, breathe very normally now.

Step 2- Continue to take long deep breaths as you relax in this pose. But bend only as far as your body permits you to. Do not overdo the stretch.

Step 3- After 15 -20 seconds, as you exhale, gently bring your legs and chest to the ground. Release the ankles and relax.

Do not Practice Dhanurasana if you have:

High or low blood pressure

Hernia

Neck injury

Pain in the lower back

Headache migraine

Recent abdominal surgery

And Ladies should avoid practicing this yoga pose during pregnancy.

2- Kapol Shakti Vikasak- 

Kapol Shakti Vikasak is very good for toning the facial muscles; make your teeth strong and many more.

 

Take a deep breath through your nose, Exhale completely through your mouth. Close both the nostrils with your thumbs and all the fingers pointing outward and joined together. Inhale deeply through your mouth and puff up you cheeks. Hold your breath and put your chin against the chest. Now hold as long as you can.

Note- Keep repeating this practices at least 10 – 15 times.

3- Shashank Asana- 

Shashanka in Sanskrit means the moon, that’s why it is called moon pose also. This asana improve your blood circulation, make your skin glowing and stretches the rectus muscle of the abdomen and helps in improving the digestion.

Note- Avoid this Asana with high blood pressure and who are suffering from pain in the hip joint.

Step 1- Sit with legs folded backwards, heels apart, knees and toes together (sit in vajrasana).

Step 2- Adjust your hips between the heels (Vajrasana).slowly take your hands back and hold and keep your hand below and inhale first and then bring your face downwards and touch the floor with the forehead without raising the buttocks. Inhaling slowly, return to an upright position, and then reverse the process.

Step 3- To release, slowly revert to the normal position of Vajrasana. You may do this asana at least 8 to 10 times.

4- Virbhadrasana- 

The next asana is Virbhadrasana or warrior poses. This asana is very good for your abdomen back and for your hips. Increase flow and oxygen in your body and make your skin fresh.

Step 1- Spread your feet around 3 feet wide and turn your right foot to the front of the matte and left foot slightly point inwards.

Step 2- Turn your hips facing towards your right foot and bend to the front knee to the 90 degree angle while taking the hands up and joining the palms stay and breathe 5 to 7 breaths. And slowly release the hand straightens the legs and relaxes…

Note- Repeat on the other side as well…

5- Adho Mukha Svanasana- 

Adho mukha savasana help to relaxes and releases stiffness in your body and give you a beautiful glow…

Place your hands on the floor, take both your feet 3 feet behind raise the hips as high as you can inhales as low as possible feel the space in hips and the extension on the back  of the legs, keep looking of your foot stay for 5- 7 breaths and relax…

So these are the simple asana for glowing skin…..do these asanas at home in the morning and get glowing and fresh skin…
