Last seen in Salaam Venky in a special appearance after playing the lead in Laal Singh Chaddha, actor-producer Aamir Khan had revealed about taking a break from Bollywood. While the whole idea behind doing so was for the actor to spend more personal time away from the world of entertainment, the actor’s presence at a recent social gathering left many of his fans surprised. Punjabi singer-musician Jasbir Jassi took to social media to reveal about how Aamir Khan attended a recent event in Delhi and going by the caption, he also seemed quite impressed after meeting the star.
Readers would recall that Aamir Khan is not only taking a break but he is also often seen in salt-pepper look that he seems to enjoy. After being seen in a similar look at his daughter Ira Khan’s engagement bash and later even at the Salaam Venky event alongside Kajol, Aamir Khan once again appeared in a similar look with grey hair and beard for the recent event. Talking about the event, Jasbir Jassi took to Twitter to share a series of photos of the two of them posing at a recent event where they also twinned in their black suits. He captioned it saying, “Dil da ameer, Amir Khan #aamirkhan (Man with a rich heart, Amir Khan)”.
In another post shared by Jasbir, Aamir Khan is seen enjoying the live singing session of one of the singers present at the bash and thoroughly enjoying it too. The video concluded with Aamir wholeheartedly applauding for the singer’s talent. Jasbir dropped this video with a caption saying, “Chha gaye @BeeraVeer #amirkhan saab”
Aamir Khan decided to take a break from Bollywood after Laal Singh Chaddha and opened up about it at the Salaam Venky event, saying, “For last many years, I have been working continuously so right now I want to spend some time with my family. Paani foundation ka bhi kaam chal rha hai, aur bhi thoda kaam chal rha hai (There is also a lot to work on Paani foundation and there are some things I need to focus on), so I will come back to acting after a year.”
