ASTRO’s Sanha to skip INCENSE unit comeback activities after Covid-19 diagnosis; Moonbin tests negative

South Korean group ASTRO’s Sanha, who is currently gearing up for Moonbin & Sanha’s unit comeback with third mini album INCENSE, has reportedly tested positive for Covid-19. According to Korean tabloid Soompi, after unexpectedly halting all comeback promotions due to a worsening of his health, on January 8, ASTRO’s agency Fantagio announced that he would not be able to participate in his scheduled activities for Moonbin & Sanha’s unit comeback.

The agency issued an official statement announcing the diagnosis and shared, “Yoon Sanha does not have any other symptoms aside from a headache and mild cold-like symptoms, and he plans to focus fully on his treatment and recovery in accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines of health authorities.”

Following the diagnosis, Sanha will sit out live comeback interview during SBS’s Inkigayo, and the unit’s fan signing event will also be postponed. “The video call and fan signing events for the release of Moonbin & Sanha’s third mini album INCENSE that were scheduled to take place on Thursday, January 12 and Saturday, January 14 will be postponed,” the agency stated.

Fantiago also added that “the radio appearances on MBC FM4U’s “GOT7’s Youngjae’s Close Friend” (Tuesday, January 10) and KBS Cool FM’s “BTOB’s Kiss the Radio” (Friday, January 13) have been cancelled.” Meanwhile, ASTRO’s Moonbin also underwent a rapid antigen test and tested negative.
