#CAAProtests impact Bollywood: Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg 3’ box office collection to Deepika Padukone’s ‘Chhapaak’ promotions being cancelled

Several Bollywood celebrities have been expressing their concern over the Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 and citizens across the country have been protesting against it. And the ongoing CAA protests are having an adverse effect on Bollywood. From promotions being cancelled to box office collection being affected – here’s how the Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 is impacting Bollywood.

Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg 3’ opening collection affected
Salman Khan’s cop drama ‘Dabangg 3’ is scheduled to hit the screens tomorrow, but the film’s collection could be affected due to the CAA unrest. According to a report on Boxofficeindia.com, with the Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 protests taking place across the country, the law and order situation may cut the footfalls coming to theatres this weekend. This would result in a low box office collection for ‘Dabangg 3’ in its first weekend
