Hrithik Roshan, Rakesh Roshan host popstar Jackson Wang during his Mumbai visit for Lollapalooza India: ‘Humble & down to earth person’

Chinese-born global popstar Jackson Wang finally performed in India for the very first time at the Lollapalooza India festival. The two-day festival had an array of the line up which included international and homegrown artists. Jackson Wang brought a glimpse of his Magic Man world tour to India. The 28-year-old musician performed on Sunday night in Mumbai. In fact, while he was here for over a day’s visit, he ensured to enjoy the Mumbai vibe and also visited the house of actor Hrithik Roshan.

Veteran actor and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan shared photos of Jackson Wang’s visit where he met Roshan family and even clicked photos with their staff members. Rakesh Roshan called him ‘humble’ and said, “Elated hosting MagicMan @jacksonwang852g7….Sheer joy to have met this young talented humble & down to earth person, most memorable evening.”

Hrithik’s mother Pinkie Roshan took to Instagram to drop a slew of photos and wrote, “An unforgettable evening with @jacksonwang852g7 What an amazing young talented cultured rooted young boy!!!!! The warmth , the love, the respect, humility , rooted , grounded ????very rare to find such qualities all in one person!!!! The connect was instant????️there was Magic all around ❤️❤️God bless you Jackson????❤️we welcome you into our family❤️????????️???? more so he was so happy to pose with our house help❤️???? ALL HEART… that’s what @jacksonwang852g7 is ALL About ❤️.
Jackson Wang also shared a carousel from his India visit which included a photo with Roshan family. He captioned it, “#MAGICMAN in Lollapalooza India 2023. Always wanted to visit. Finally..Such an amazing experience with all of u since the moment at the airport to seeing u all to the show to new friends to the experience of the culture. Such an honor. Very blessed. I hope I get to come back more often.”

Addressing the massive crowd with ‘Namaste’ on Sunday at Lollapalooza India, he said that he has always wanted to visit India and that he loves watching Bollywood movies. “I have been wanting to come to India forever, I was always asking ‘When can I go? When can I go?’ It’s been four to five years. I love you guys. I feel blessed to be a part of this tonight. Let’s enjoy tonight like there’s no tomorrow.”

Earlier this month, Wang released the music video for his new single, ‘Why Why Why’. The multi-faceted singer, who croons in multiple languages, has dropped his first Chinese song of the year. Penned by Jackson Wang, Josh McClelland, and Ryan Bickley, the song is composed by Jackson Wang, Isaac Han, Josh McClelland, Ryan Bickley and produced by Isaac Han, Aaron Kim, GHOSTCHILD.

Jackson Wang dropped his English album Magic Man in September 2022 with two main tracks ‘Blow’ and ‘Cruel’.  He is currently on a world tour and has pretty much sold out all the dates and venues he is scheduled to perform at.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Hrithik Roshan was last seen in Vikram Vedha with Saif Ali Khan. He will next star in Siddharth Anand’s next Fighter with Deepika Padukone.
