Although she loves the glitz and glamour of Bollywood films, when it comes to her special occasions, Kareena Kapoor Khan likes to celebrate them with only family around. Her recent birthday celebration was a private and intimate affair with close ones from the family.
Actress-sister Karisma Kapoor took to Instagram to share glimpses from the celebrations where Kareena was seen posing with her sister and with her younger son Jehangir Ali Khan aka Jeh. The actress celebrated her 42nd birthday at her father Randhir Kapoor’s residence in Bandra. Ranbir Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan too reportedly joined them for the celebrations.
Taking to Instagram story, Karisma Kapoor shared two photos from the birthday celebrations of sister Kareena Kapoor Khan. One of them featured Jeh attempting to blow the candle along with his mother and the other one aptly showcased the Kapoor sister bond between Bebo and Lolo as the two of them were seen twinning in white.
Many from the Kapoor Khandan including sister-in-law Alia Bhatt, cousin Riddhima Kapoor Sahani, Aadar Jain, and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan, among others posted their birthday wishes on social media. Kareena Kapoor Khan has reposted all the special birthday wishes on her Instagram story.
Karisma Kapoor too had taken to Instagram to share a special birthday wish for her sister by sharing a throwback photo of them from their childhood days when Bebo was a toddler. She posted the wish saying, “To the bestest sister and my best friend??Happiest birthday??Always twinning and winning??#happybirthday”
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will be making her OTT debut soon with her Netflix film, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The suspense-thriller is an Indian adaptation of the Japanese novel Devotion of Suspect X, written by Keigo Higashino.
