The Yash starrer KGF – Chapter 2 was released a week ago, and by the looks of it, the film is proving to be unstoppable at the box office. After opening on a thunderous note, the business of KGF 2 witnessed immense growth over its opening weekend. After crossing the Rs. 200 cr mark in just 5 days, the collections of the film made it across the Rs. 250 cr mark by the end of Day 7.

Collecting Rs. 268.63 cr in its first week KGF 2 has surpassed the collections of the SS Rajamouli directorial RRR which had collected Rs. 132.59 cr to emerge as the highest opening week grosser of 2022. Currently, with a total collection of Rs. 268.63 cr, it is estimated that KGF – Chapter 2 will certainly cross the Rs. 300 cr mark by the end of its second weekend. In fact, trade predictions are highly optimistic about the film’s business despite the Shahid Kapoor film Jersey hitting screens.
