Koffee With Karan season 7 concluded last week with the episode featuring Gauri Khan, Bhavana Pandey and Maheep Kapoor. Following that, a special episode premiered on Thursday to talk about the show, the criticism and the best moments. The special guests were social media stars Tanmay Bhat, Kusha Kapila, Danish Sait and Niharika NM. During the chat, the filmmaker said Vijay Deverakonda is single.
During the episode, the filmmaker talked about how he was embarrassed to be not invited to Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding. He said, “It got to a point where people were like you did not tell us about them, you are at the wedding and still not telling us. It got very embarrassing to admit that I had not been invited.” Karan quipped that he ‘really took a lot of solace’ in the fact that director Anurag Kashyap wasn’t invited either.
Hearing him, Niharika NM said, “You are invited to my wedding and you are gonna set me up.” Karan then mentioned that Prabhas is single to which she replied saying, ‘I’m 25, and my mother will have a problem.” He then said that Liger star Vijay Deverakonda is single and called him ‘the biggest cheese platter available in the universe’ referencing the episode where Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan addressed him as ‘cheese’.
Kusha Kapila mentioned how there were insinuations that he might be dating Rashmika Mandanna with whom he has worked on Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. Karan said, “He is single from what I know, he is single, officially single.”
Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in Liger which failed at the box office. His next is Kushi with Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Jana Gana Mana.
