2022 was a tough year for the Hindi film industry as only a few of them managed to perform well at the box office. Among those few was the sequel of Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Drishyam 2. A section of the audience credited her for the success of both films. Speaking of the same, Tabu shared her piece of mind on the same during the trailer launch event of her upcoming film Kuttey.
Talking about giving two back-to-back hit films, the critically acclaimed actress said, “I feel it’s the entire film’s success, rather than just one person’s success. I have been an important part of both the films but the success and joy are shared with everybody who is involved in the film.”
Elaborating further, she added, “There is tremendous happiness for the film and what the film has achieved and for everybody involved in the film because everybody works hard for the film. And everybody deserves a share of the success. I feel like a huge responsibility that I have fulfilled if the film has done well because I was a part of them.”
For the unversed, Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2 were released in May and November respectively. Both films grabbed a spot in the list of the highest grossers of the year.
Coming back to Kuttey, the Aasmaan Bharadwaj directorial is slated to release on January 13, 2023. Apart from Tabu, the forthcoming film also features Arjun Kapoor, Konkona Sen Sharma, Radhika Madan, Kumud Mishra and Naseeruddin Shah in key roles.
