Like we told you earlier, Taapsee Pannu is spending the most of her quarantine time on her phone. And we aren’t complaining, because she keeps sharing some really enjoyable throwback moments. Her latest post is a throwback from the day her film Naam Shabana was announced.
The picture has Taapsee sharing the frame with co-stars Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpayee and Akshay Kumar among others. A birthday cake is also seen, and her caption reveals why. “From the day we celebrated Anupam sir’s birthday along with getting a picture clicked for the announcement of ‘Naam Shabana’. Dress code, black! Was such an overwhelming moment to be surrounded by all these men I have admired for years. Holding the centre stage amongst them was very intimidating but who can be nervous when u know you are supported by such talent from all the sides. it was my first ever title role ! So memorable for so many reasons,” she wrote.
Naam Shabana starred Taapsee as an Indian agent chasing an international arms dealer. A prequel to Akshay Kumar’s 2015 film Baby, Naam Shabana also had Akshay making an extended guest appearance.
Taapsee, who was last seen in Saand Ki Aankh, is next to appear in Aanand L Rai’s production Haseen Dillruba, and will also be seen playing an athlete in Rashmi Rocket.
