Sab TV’s show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is the world’s longest-running sitcom and has grown in its popularity over the years. However, in the past few years, a handful of artists, associated with the show, decided to part ways, including its director. Going by the latest buzz, Monika Bhadoriya has been replaced by Navina Wadekar. For the unversed, Monika essayed the character of Bawri.
Speaking of introducing Navina as the new Bawri, Asit Kumar Modi said, “I wanted a fresh and innocent face for the character of Bawri and we luckily found what we were looking for. She has also promised commitment to the show. Our show is the most loved show by the audience, and we need to fulfil their expectations. I am sure that they will love Bawri, played by Navina Wadekar,” in a statement, as per a report by IANS.
Modi further added, “She is enthusiastic and understands the brand Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. We have auditioned so many talents and selected her. I Request viewers to shower their love and blessings on the new Bawri.”
Talking about the current track, Bawri is back from her town and promises to meet Bagha. However, instead of meeting him in the Garden, she sends a message about breaking up. Since then, Bagha, Natukaka, Jethalal and other Gokuldham Society members have been worried. Everyone wants to know the reason behind Bawri’s reaction. In the upcoming episode, Navina will be introduced as the new Bawri.
In June 2022, Monika had confirmed quitting the show. However, she did not mention the reason. She told ETime, “I have left Taarak on an amicable note,” while denying the reports of asking for a hike in fee.
