Sara Ali Khan seems to be have a busy year ahead. While we haven’t seen much of the actress since the release of Atrangi Re in the first half of 2022, the actress has multiple projects in hand currently. From historical drama to rom-com to anthology, the actress has interesting films in the pipeline. While she has been shooting for her films and endorsements since last year, she kick started work for this new year recently. Sara wanted to remember her ‘first day’ of shoot in 2023 and hence, posted about it on social media.
Sara Ali Khan always keeps her fans updated with her multiple shoot schedules and day-to-day happenings. Recently, the actress shared a boomerang on her Instagram story where she posed with her team while prepping to kick start the first day of shoot for the year 2023. A source close to the actress spoke about her shoot schedule saying, “Sara wrapped up three films in 2022, and she is supposed to kick start the prep for Anurag Basu’s directorial Metro In Dino soon. However, currently, she is shooting for the biopic of Usha Mehta, Ae Watan Mere Watan.”
Taking to her social media, Sara shared a selfie with her team from the sets of her ongoing project as she wrapped up the said project. While expressing her excitement to shoot her first shot of the year, she jotted down the caption writing – “First day of shoot in 2023”.
Speaking of her upcoming films, Sara Ali Khan will be next seen in Gaslight opposite Vikrant Massey, the actress also has a film opposite Vicky Kaushal which is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Maddock Films. But the title of the film is yet to be announced. Coming to the biopic of Usha Mehta, Ae Watan Mere Watan follows the story of a young girl who becomes an important member of the freedom struggle of Indian Independence. Her film with Anurag Basu, Metro In Dino will feature her alongside Aditya Roy Kapur.
