Sardar Trailer: Karthi starrer promises to be an action-packed and ruthless journey

Ponniyin Selvan actor Karthi is all set to arrive on the big screens yet again. While his latest release is breaking records across the globe, the actor will be seen in a unique avatar in his next. Audiences got a glimpse of his upcoming film Sardar which will feature him in the role of a spy and is directed by PS Mithran of Abhimanyudu. The makers unveiled the trailer of the film which will give you a deeper insight into the world of ‘codename – Sardar’.

The trailer starts by introducing the two characters essayed by Karthi – one of which is a Sardar, a man of disguise, and Inspector Vijay Prakash who is crazy about publicity. A confidential file that contains military information goes missing and eventually, it becomes the biggest mission for the RAW and the CBI. The trailer also shows glimpses of the adrenaline-pumping action. On the other hand, talking about the actresses we get glimpses of Raashii Khanna and Rajisha Vijay who both play the love interest. It also features glimpses of yesteryear star Laila who essays the character of a CBI intelligence officer as well as Chunky Pandey in the role of a business tycoon.

Besides them, the film also stars Munishkanth, Ashwin, Yog Japi, Nimmy, Balaji Sakthivel, and Elavarasu, among others. The trailer is edited by PS Mithran whereas the technicians for the film include DOP George C Williams and music composer GV Prakash Kumar. Sardar is produced by S Lakshman Kumar under the banner of Prince Pictures. Nagarjuna Akkineni’s Annapurna Studios will be releasing the movie in Telugu states. Touted as a bilingual, the film will be a Diwali release and will hit the big screens on October 21 in Tamil and Telugu.
