Just yesterday, it was reported that Shilpa Shetty has been busy shooting some high-octane action sand stunt sequences with Sidharth Malhotra for Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force. The series, which will mark Rohit Shetty’s foray into the OTT space, is said to be a part of the filmmaker’s cop universe. While the shoot of the same continues, it is learnt that Shilpa Shetty will be out of commission for at least the next six weeks. This comes after the actress sustained an injury on sets of the show while shooting for an action sequence.
Talking about the injury, Shilpa took to social media sharing an image of herself in a wheelchair saying, “They said, Roll camera action – “break a leg!” I took it literally???????? ????????♀️ Out of action for 6 weeks, but I’ll be back soon stronger and better. Till then, dua mein yaad rakhiyega ???????????? Prayers always work ???? With gratitude, Shilpa Shetty Kundra”. Following Shilpa’s post, a number of Bollywood celebrities responded wishing the actress a speedy recovery.
As for the show, Indian Police Force will be the newest addition to Rohit Shetty’s shared cop universe, which includes Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. The fictional series, which will be out on Amazon Prime, aims to pay an ode to the “selfless service, unconditional commitment, and fierce patriotism of our police officers across the country.”
