It seems Kartik Aaryan’s upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh remake is going to be about reunions for him. The actor will be reuniting with his Luka Chuppi co-star Kriti Sanon, who has a special appearance in the movie. Sanon reportedly plays a character which is on the lines of Parveen Babi’s Neeta from the 1978 BR Chopra original. And now after this, the 28-year-old actor is gearing up for another reunion, a report in Mumbai Mirror suggests. According to a report in the daily director, Mudassar Aziz has roped in Kartik’s Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety co-star Sunny Singh for a special appearance in his directorial.

While confirming the news and adding more details, Mudassar said, “Sunny’s character is something he has never done before because of it’s setting, in the heartland Uttar Pradesh. We had a great time shooting with him.”

Kartik have shared screen space in two movies together. Talking more about the camarderies between the two the director added, “He’s like a brother. Kartik and Sunny are friends and hence share a sense of humour and comic timing from before. What’s interesting though is that they can barely give a composite shot together because either one of them bursts out laughing.”

Pati Patni Aur Woh is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Juno Chopra. Just like the original it revolves around a family man with a Patni (Bhumi Pednekar) and child. Life changes for Chintu Tyagi played by Kartik, when he gets attracted to his glamorous secretary, woh (Ananya Panday). This is followed by a game of hide-and-seek.

Director Mudassar also revealed that unlike Kirti’s character, Sunny’s not from the original. “Our film is different from that one in both its screenplay and characterisation,” he said.

Meanwhile, Sunny will be soon seen in producer Abhishek Pathak’s directorial debut, Ujda Chaman, which deals with premature balding.
