Actor Alia Bhatt celebrated her 27th birthday on March 15! The actress was seen cutting two cakes at midnight in presence of her sister Shaheen Bhatt, and her best friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor who recently made her acting debut in Netflix film, Guilty. In a couple of videos, Alia can be seen cutting two cakes as others sang the ‘Happy Birthday’ song.
While the celebs are opting out of social gatherings due to Coronavirus scare, Alia Bhatt did not let that be a spoilsport. After celebrating the day with her family and friends at her residence, she spent time with Ranbir Kapoor and his family on Sunday. She spent time with Ranbir, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni among other family members.
Alia also received a birthday message from Katrina Kaif. While the actress dated Ranbir Kapoor back in the day, there’s no bad blood between the two actresses. She shared a throwback video of their gym session together and wrote, “Just keep being you,” In the shared video, Alia is seen doing the squats while Katrina is doing the counts for her. “Thank you my dearest Katy,” Alia responded to her message.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt began shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi in December last year. The film is scheduled for September 2020 release. She will also be seen in SS Rajamouli’s RRR, Karan Johar’s Takht and Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra.
