Pushpa: The Rise created a rage amongst the masses last year. They were enamoured by the swag of Allu Arjun and the charm of Rashmika Mandanna. While keeping the audience’s anticipation remains unmatched, the makers are busy with the shoot of Pushpa sequel, Pushpa: The Rule. In August 2022, the makers began the project with a puja ceremony. While Allu Arjun was the US and Rashmika was busy with her projects, the puja ceremony was attended by the producers and director Sukumar. Now, Allu Arjun has begun work on the sequel and the extensive shoot is expected to begin in November.
Cinematographer Miroslaw Kuba Brozek took to Instagram to share a photo with Allu Arjun. The behind-the-scenes photo saw the cinematographer directing the actor. The shooting of the sequel was reportedly supposed to begin sometime ago but director Sukumar was refining the script after the success of Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1. Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil and the rest of the cast are expected to reprise their roles in the sequel. Dhanunjaya, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj are among many others who are cast in pivotal roles.
Devi Sri Prasad will return as the music composer for the sequel. The technical team includes Sukumar Bandreddi as the story writer, screenplay writer and director. The film is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili. The Cinematographer for the film is Miresłow Kuba Brożek. Music by Devi Sri Prasad, Production Design by S. Ramakrishna and Monica Nigotre, lyrics by Chandra Bose. The CEO is Cherry, Chief Executive Producer is KVV Bala Subramaniam. The film is expected to release in December 2023.
