Bigg Boss 16: Cirkus director Rohit Shetty reveals he would love to cast show host Salman Khan in his cop universe

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has been making headlines along with the cast of his soon-to-release directorial Cirkus. In fact, Shetty, Ranveer Singh, and others have been promoting the film across the country with appearances at various functions. Well continuing the same, Rohit and Ranveer were recently on the sets of the Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 16 to promote Cirkus. Making the Weekend Ka Vaar episode special, Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma, arrived on the stage dancing to the song ‘Current Laga Re’. However, what caught our attention was the comment made by Rohit Shetty, about featuring Salman Khan in his cop universe.

During the course of the show, Varun Sharam quizzed Rohit Shetty whether he had ever thought of bringing in Salman Khan’s character Chulbul Pandey from the Dabangg series into his cop universe. Responding to the same, Shetty simply revealed, “110%”. Intriguingly, Salman Khan who happened to be right near the filmmaker refrained from responding. While the story behind this is still unclear, from the video it is evident that Shetty was hooked up to a lie detector of sorts while being grilled.

Going further, Varun Sharma continued his questioning grilling Shetty whether he has ever bad-mouthed the cast of his film behind their back. Following his response, it was Ranveer Singh who takes the hot seat to answer some fiery questions.

While Rohit Shetty’s revelation about wanting to feature Salman Khan in his cop universe will have to remain a mystery, on the work front the director is gearing up for his next release Cirkus. Starring Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, and Pooja Hegde the film is slated to release on December 23, 2022.
