Filmmaker Karan Johar is owning his salt and pepper look amid lockdown and has been sharing photos on Instagram. With a new photo, he has also announced that he is ready to take up the father’s roles and try his second stint in acting.
Sharing a selfie on Tuesday, Karan wrote, “I know my acting stint was scarier than the current virus but there is no harm in hoping for a second chance! So to all enterprising casting directors ,to all risk taking filmmakers , to critics with a high threshold of pain and to easy to please audiences I have an announcement to make!!!! I AM AVAILABLE FOR FATHER ROLES! ( at 48 with a poor track record I promise i can’t afford to be choosy).”
Film and TV producer Ekta Kapoor quickly responded to the post and offered him the role of Mr. Rishab Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Ekta said jokingly, “I have a daily soap! Rishab bajaj has white hair n is hot !!!! N. We always do face swaps ! Pls come on tv!!!!! We r v easy to please here!!!”
Anil Kapoor also had an interesting comment which read, “Mere pet pe kyon laat mar rahe ho sir.” Choreographer-turned-filmmaker Farah Khan mocked him by saying, “Ul be more high maintenance than the heroine!!”
The last time, Karan Johar acted was in Sonakshi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh starrer Welcome To New York in 2018.
Karan Johar recently hosted a massive fundraiser with Zoya Akhtar that has raised over Rs. 54 crores to help those affected due to coronavirus outbreak.
