TWICE’s Nayeon becomes new muse for Givenchy beauty

We can’t get enough of K-pop artists, who have already conquered the globe with their music and are now dominating fashion as ambassadors for high-end brands. Korean idols are quickly gaining worldwide dominance in every industry, including fashion, as seen by the selection of BTS as Louis Vuitton’s global brand ambassador and the collaboration of fan favourite girl group Black Pink with storied companies like Bvlgari and Dior. And now Nayeon, a member of TWICE, has taken on the role of muse for a major cosmetics company! Givenchy Beauty declared Nayeon to be its official muse on January 30. Givenchy is a French brand that is best known for making haute-couture clothing, perfumes, accessories and cosmetics as well. Started in 1952 by French designer Hubert de Givenchy, the house of Givenchy is a member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture et du Pret-a-Porter and is owned by the LVMH luxury group.

An official from Givenchy Beauty said, “Nayeon is receiving a lot of love for her bright and lively appearance. Her confident and sophisticated appearance on stage matches with the direction of Givenchy Beauty, which is why we selected her as our official model. We expect Nayeon to create positive synergies with our brand through participating in various campaign activities as Givenchy Beauty’s official model. Nayeon plans to showcase more diverse and charming sides of herself in the makeup and perfume categories, so please show lots of interest.” Givenchy Beauty released a digital cover and pictorial featuring Nayeon through the February issue of DAZED.

Nayeon can be seen holding Givenchy products on the cover of the magazine, including the foundation, compact, and perfume. She looked gorgeous in a black jacket and with minimum makeup.
